Description: Undoubtedly, our palm sugar rum is not exactly a local product as the rum is made using real palm sugar from Indonesia. However, we do expertly produce this rum locally on a small scale in Woerden just like all our distillates. Then the rum is aged on cask made from French oak until ready. The result is a delightful, slightly sweet rum with a rich aftertaste.
Colour: This palm sugar rum is dark brown.
Smell: The sweet aroma of palm sugar and subtle tones of caramel, coffee and wood create a pleasant smell.
Taste: The fine and sweet taste of sugar combined with tones of caramel are characteristic for this pure palm sugar rum.
Aftertaste: Because this rum is aged on cask its aftertaste is especially rich and long-lasting.
